Definition of Disciple Life

A Christian disciple is a follower of Christ, but one thing you must know is the cost of following Jesus Christ is your life. It will cost you everything. You will have to say no to temptations and the things of this world. You will have to follow Him through trials, suffering, loneliness, humiliation, etc. – Rochelle

A disciple shall be found pure and honest in speech, honorable dignity and upright integrity. Gracious and lovingly passionate!

You have to love God more than anyone or anything in this world and even if you were the only one in your family following Christ and even if your parents didn’t approve, you would still follow Christ. Stability in Character.

We shall depend on grace. We shall not rely on ourselves, but we shall rely on God’s guidance by His Spirit. God’s goal is to make you into the image of Christ. Disciples of Christ shall imitate Christ and bring glory to God. We grow in grace by reading Scripture, obeying Scripture, praying, etc. We have a love for other believers. We have compassion for other believers falling away, we have a character of concern for those brethrens in need, in pain or in suffering. We humble ourselves through serving others continually and not only are we forever students, but as part of the journey wherever we may be, we spread the gospel and disciple others to do the same.

Don’t tell me you’re a disciple of Christ if you have no new desires for Christ-like character. Don’t tell me you are a disciple if you deliberately rebel against God’s Word and uses Jesus Christ death or words to justify your continuous lifestyle of sin or to only benefit yourself purposely.

A disciple shall be found pure and honest in speech, honorable dignity and upright integrity. Gracious and lovingly passionate!
You seem to speak you are truly good. In comparisons towards others yes! but if we deeply look inwardly to our hearts, we know we lie that we arent pure inside of us.
And if somehow a thought came to you that you are Born again or a believer? Are you confident with that? And if obeying the commands seems to you is just by love then I might say we are deceived for with love we do it with actions.
Is there still something hidden within you that you can’t rid off, a thing that burdens your soul? Come to Christ! I encourage you! You dont need to knock a door or to welcome Him to you. Go to Him and plead for mercy. God is gracious and hears all the deepest of our thoughts and inner court of our hearts.
Have You Repented! Asked for forgiveness of your sins. ARE you baptised in water? Are you baptised by the Holy Spirit? Are you doing the commands of Jesus? If not!! Its the time..today!

Don’t tell me you’re a disciple when you truly want to follow the world. You think you’re saved because you go to church. You might only pray when things wrong. then your life is not about Christ instead it’s about what he can do for you. When talking about obedience to God’s Word, false converts love to scream legalism. Or at least we say “God loves the sin and hate the sinner – Mahatma Gandhi” which can mean that you can sin and hate that sin which still love the person. I see it wrong. The fact that the person was aware of sin and still knew in the beginning it was wrong but with its own strength still did commit it is definitely unlovable but needs correction out of love.

A person is saved by putting their trust in Jesus Christ alone. You can’t work your way into Heaven, but when you truly accept Him you will change and you will put your effort and strength to change yourself for the benefit of your transformation. You will always battle with sin, you will always have a strife against temptations but your desires will never be to live a lifestyle of sin. And your desires will be renewed into striving towards righteousness and uprightness of integrity and lifestyle.

You will grow in obedience not because it saves you, but because you are so thankful of Jesus Christ paying your fine and taking upon the wrath of God that you and I deserve. Jesus Christ is everything or He is nothing!
